
Bridge in Cambridgeshire spanning a 10m steam.
Built on 2x steel girders 14m in length, 6″ wide and 12″ in depth have 50mm / 150mm / 2400mm wood beams bolted to the girders using 75mm coach bolts.
Treads 50mm / 1600mm 150mm are screwed to the timber beams with 3″ coated high grade screws leaving an expansion gap between each tread of 4mm.
Wooden supports 100mm / 1100mm are bolted to steel plates welded to the girders and support the side rails 2500mm / 150mm / 25mm. Large 100mm acornn finials are screwed to the top of the 10 posts to match the garden surroundings.
All timber is pressure treated and coated with another wood preservative.
